Alan Bolster Owner & Founder
Alan Bolster grew up in Skowhegan, Maine, and after high school enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Infantry in 2000. He served four years honorably, earning multiple service medals and a Combat Action Ribbon during the 2003 Iraq campaign.
After his service, Alan earned his Associate's Degree in Business Management from KVCC, then channeled his discipline and drive into building a career in air and water treatment. In 2007, he founded his first air and water company — and never looked back.
Over nearly two decades, Alan has trained alongside top engineers and treatment specialists across North America, developed expertise spanning air quality, water testing, system installation, and ongoing service. He became an internationally certified water trainer and built a dealer education program that has helped new operators learn to solve the water quality problems that have affected homeowners for generations.
Today, Alan brings that depth of experience home to the Greater Bangor area through Maine Healthy Air and Water Solutions — a veteran-owned, locally operated business built on straight talk, skilled work, and a genuine commitment to healthier indoor environments.
Alan lives in the Bangor area with his wife Danielle and their three boys. When he's not working, you'll find him fishing, hunting, or somewhere out in the Maine woods.
